Swansea vs. Arsenal

2-3, Premier League, Liberty Stadium, 2012-01-15
van Persie 5,
Walcott 69

We weren't focused enough today, now did we have the same will as Swansea.. It was a truly horrific to watch us play today...

van Persie got us off to a brilliant start when he scored from a unlikely opportunity, and after that we got complacent. There is no other way to explain how we completely lost all our play and were more or less lucky to come off with a draw after the first half.

In the second half we soon fell behind and when Walcott got us back in the game with an amazing finish to a great run, I figured that we would go on to win the game! However, the equalizer lasted for about thirty seconds. A typical example of a team losing its focus, we looked to far ahead that we couldn't sort out our own defence.

This time it just wasn't enough to put a legend onto the pitch to win us the game, Henry did well and his work-rate was amazing (Koscielny fought like crazy as well), but it just wasn't enough this time around.

Injury Update;
-Rosicky came on in the second half, so he's back from injury.
-Arteta picked up an injury prior to the game, I don't know anything of it yet though.
-Vermaelen is expected to return for the next game.
