Henry 78
All you need to do is read the scoreline to know what this means to everyone involved with the club. There isn't words to describe the feeling when the King returns to score the winner for us in a cup tie!
The game was rather dismal until he came on, but how it all changed when the Legend took to the pitch! It took Thierry Henry less than ten minutes to win the game for us with a strike that is so often associated with the striker! He was, however, quick to point out that he is not the player he used to be and will not be able to score week in and week out in his post-match interview. What can you say to that..? What a man, what a player.
Injury Update;
-Coquelin picked up a hamstring injury, so the list of full backs (or centre-halves operating as full backs) out injured is currently: Sagna, Santos, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Vermaelen, Djourou, Coquelin... But there is hope that Djourou will return for the weekend's clash against Swansea.
-Wilshere is expected to return in mid-February
Here's the goal that created a fairytale! ::
