Bolton vs. Arsenal

1-2, Premier League, Reebok Stadium, 24/4 -11
van Persie 48

When Bolton got their penalty right in the beginning of the second half I started going through some tunes on my computer, and then I saw the perfect song, Had Enough by Danko Jones. That song really mirrored my exact emotions, so I felt compelled to put it on, and sure enough, within just that one song, Bolton had time to miss their penalty and Robin scored an equalizer for us! (he now holds a record in the Premier League, the only one to score in seven consecutive away league games).
Obviously I started thinking that it was some kind of sign, that we would turn it around and have the slightest of shots at the league title... Then again, I've always believed in chance, and that was exactly what this proved to be as I put on the song again in the dying minutes hoping for a winner, and it came, to Bolton...

As you'd have figured out by now Bolton took the lead in the second half through some poor marking on a corner. (you would think that we'd learned from that mistake, but Bolton's winner came from some more sloppy defending from a corner).
RvP did give us some hope though, just after Bolton missed their penalty (or rather, Szczesny saved it) van Persie received a ball from Fabregas and took the shot!

Unfortunately as all good things must come to an end so does our title bid, and now we've lost the second place to Chelsea as well... So it seems that we will finish on a disappointingly third place this season.

Injury Update;
-no news really... only that Diaby got injured in the derby, it doesn't seem too bad, though he missed this game.
