In times like this I can only do what any other fan can do, curse the referee! When you are one-nil up in the 98th minute of eight minutes of stoppage time you would say that the game is won, but enter *whatever the fuck his name was*! He gives them a freekick in the 99th minute, and when they've taken that freekick, time to blow the whistle? No, lets just wait and see what happens next and Eboue stumbles over a player in the box and they get a penalty in something like the 101st minute...! I suppose that this really personifies what everyone is saying about every game toward the end of the season is a cup final... Only that this time there was no winner.
We've got the game going for us, just not any goals, but we can at least choose to look at things in a positive manner (even though this means another season without any trophies), when Cesc was brought down in the box Robin scored a goal for the Arsenal at the Emirates! This penalty was the first goal at our own ground for quite some time... Yayy...
Some more good news though, both Szczesny and Djourou (as well as Song who came on from the bench late on in the game) was back for this game... But I suppose that it doesn't make any real difference,, the season is more or less over for us now... Damn,, I would have liked my visit to the Emirates in May to actually mean something... Well, maybe we'll have to fight for the honor of being runners-up now..?
