Blackpool vs. Arsenal

3-1, Premier League, Bloomfield Road, 10/4 -11
Diaby 17,
Eboue 20,
van Persie 75

We are back on track and ready to give it all in the last seven games of this season! The chances of bringing the title to the Emirates have shrunk radically since the last three games that we have drawn in, but we've still got a go at it, though I'd say we pretty much have to win everyone of the last games... And we'd still need some help from another team to take points from United.

It's still frustrating to watch the team though, we still can't seem to convert enough chances! We create so much but just don't score enough, we could have been five-nil up after the fist half, instead we had "only" scored two!
The goals were really easy on the eye though, the first came when van Persie played the ball across the box and Diaby managed to slot it in! Then there were some nice link-up play between Wilshere and Eboue that led to Eboue getting the opportunity to score from a really good shot.

Quite early in the second half Blackpool got one back after some chaos in our box, but we didn't budge and with just about fifteen minutes left van Persie sealed the game after Fabregas had played Walcott completely free on the right-hand side and the young English winger didn't disappoint with his cross to van Persie, and the Dutchman cooly placed the ball past the 'keeper.

The one player that to me really proved the difference from the latest games were Fabregas, he started this game after a while on the sidelines and he created pretty much everything we had going forward! Some of his passes were just breath-taking, he certainly seem to be getting back to his best, and how we need it now for the last games.

Injury Update;
-Almunia got some kind of injury just before the game, so Lehmann started the game in goal for us, what really concerns me now is that we've got four goalkeepers injured.. FOUR goalkeepers at the same time... Has that ever happened before...? not that I know of anyway... The injured ones are Fabianski, Mannone, Szczesny and now Almunia...
-Good news though as both Szczesny and Djourou looks to be back in training next week.
-Song picked up a knee injury against Blackburn, but he will most probably be back for the Liverpool clash next Sunday.
