Newcastle vs. Arsenal

4-4, Premier League, St James' Park, 5/2 -11
Walcott 1,
Djourou 3,
van Persie 10, 26

Completely gutted that we let a four-goal lead slip...

In the first half we were brilliant, after just about forty seconds Walcott got the space he needed to get past the defenders and score!
And just two minutes after that Djourou headed home from a Arshavin freekick.
Van Persie extended our lead when he managed to reach a cross from Walcott, and about sixteen minutes later van Persie scored again, getting a head at Sagna's cross!
As you might have figured out we were dominating, rocking in the first half, played some of the greatest clinical football I have ever seen, then came the second half...

It started rather even, then Djourou had to leave the pitch due to injury, and about ten minutes into the half Diaby was sent off after reacting strongly when Barton tackled him harshly, I can completely understand Diaby's reaction, he has missed countless of games due to injuries from harsh tackles and this one was real bad, Barton got away without even having a talk with the ref.

That obviously spurred Newcastle on, and they were eventually awarded a penalty, though it still was manageable for us, we still looked like we could cope after letting in the second, but then the ref stepped in and basically pulled another penalty out of the hat! It must be the cheapest penalty I have ever seen, it was hardly anything more than a touch from Rosicky!
Then a shot from distance gave Newcastle a share of points...

Injury Update;
-No idea how Djourou is, though he did manage to walk off the pitch himself, which usually is good news...
