Manchester United vs. Arsenal

1-2, Premier League, Old Trafford, 2012-11-03
Cazorla 90 + 4

Well... This turned out to be quite a horrific game for us.

The nightmare began after just three minutes when Robin van Persie scored due to a fatal error from Vermaelen. The rest of the first half was rather uneventful, Ramsey had a decent shot at goal after approximately twenty minutes when he raced down the right-hand side, but aside from that we did not produce anything worth mentioning.

We had a positive start to second half, the introduction of Walcott clearly gave us a boost. For about twenty minutes, then 0-2 came. As Wilshere got sent off with approximately twenty minutes to go our previously slight chance of getting something out of the game was diminished.

At least we can say that we had the last say in this game! Santi Cazorla managed to get a shot away in the very last minute. I would not go as far as claiming that it regained our pride, it was only a consolation goal after all...

Injury Update;
- Gervinho will be out for about three weeks
- Oxlade-Chamberlain should not be too far away from returning from his injury.
