We looked tired from start to finish in this game, I believe it is enough to mention the fact that we only had one shot at goal to give an accurate impression of this game.
The only goal scored in the game was an offside goal by Aston Villa in the first half, that was also pretty much the only thing worth mentioning from that half.
The second half was no better, the only thing worth mentioning is that we were lucky not to concede when Aston Villa hit the bar with about ten minutes to go.
I really do not know what else to write than we were poor, really poor. Hopefully we can find some energy for the game against Everton on Tuesday, otherwise I fear we are in for anther dreadfully boring evening.
Injury Update:
- Gibbs was back for this game, which needless to say is a massive boost for us.
