Arsenal vs. Schalke 04

0-2, Champions League, Emirates Stadium, 2012-10-24

As the result might show, we did not manage to up our game from the weekend. We looked flat throughout the entire game, need I say any more than the fact that we did not have a single shot at target during the entire game..?

Schalke had a penalty shout in the first half, and we had one in the second, yet both 'divers' were only awarded with a yellow from the (Swedish) referee. We lost the game late on in the second half when Huntelaar scored and not long after that goal they scored another as we had taken off Jenkinson to provide some further attacking force.

There is literally no positive that I can see from this game, so let's just do like the players constantly says after these losses, look ahead to the next game! We will play QPR at home on Saturday, which ought to be interesting...

Injury Update;
- the following players are reportedly not far from returning from injury: Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wilshere, Sagna and Gibbs. Meanwhile, Rosicky, Szczesny and Diaby are a few weeks away.
