Due to former injury problems, Tomas Rosicky did not feature for the Czechs as their stay in the tournament came to an end at the hands of the Portuguese. The game was rather dismal, both teams had a rather careful approach, and in the second half Ronaldo scored to get Portugal through to the semi-finals.
